Why we love social media

#CarilohaLife is more then a hashtag.  It is a way of living life with a positive and imaginative outlook.  We love to connect with our followers and really live life.  Follow our social media accounts as we explore life and look to inspire and enjoy each other.

Why we say "Feel the Difference"

When most people think about bamboo, they think of a large wood like plant, used for building or food for Pandas.   Cariloha knew bamboo could be made into ultra-soft clothing, bedding, and bath goods that rivaled the softness of cashmere and silk, and set about doing just that.  Stop in and feel the difference for yourself.

Bamboo fabric facts

  • 3 degrees cooler than cotton
  • naturally antimicrobial and hypoallergenic
  • moisture wicking {think towels and fitness wear}

  • bamboo is a highly sustainable natural resource
a little about..

Cariloha North Hills

First time storeowners Shannon and Guy may have happened on to the best kept secret of the islands…Cariloha Bamboo. As avid travelers they discovered Cariloha while cruising the Caribbean with their family. They fell in love with the products while visiting a Cariloha store in the Cayman Islands in 2012. Along with the items they had purchased while in the store a pamphlet inviting them to open their own store was placed into their shopping bag.

After visiting local stores in D.C and South Carolina, and having become more familiar with the brand and its products, Shannon and Guy saw potential in the Raleigh market.

“We are excited to introduce the patrons of North Hills to the softest bedding, bath and clothing lines we’ve ever experienced”.

Shannon and Guy have 3 Beautiful children; 8 year old boy/girl twins, and a rambunctious 5 year old boy who thinks he needs to be the center of attention, always! Shannon is originally from Arizona, and Guy a native Australian…that’s right…Australia, where they say “G’day Mate”, and kick their “footies” (footballs) instead of throw them. Shannon and Guy have lived in North Carolina for over 10 years and are proud to call the Tar Heel State their home, they also own a successful Photography business in the area.
